- Sweeping level design changes:
- Added an extra checkpoint for 1-2, 1-4, 2-1, 2-3, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3 and 4-3.
- Some stages now contain warp blocks! Find and activate these to clear a stage early!
- Re-skinned several levels.
- Slowed down falling spikes in 4-2.
- Changed level gimmick in 2-2.

- Enemy Changes:
- Tells for when zombie enemies will revive.
- New frames for Jiang Shi enemy.
- falling 1ton enemies now shake a bit before falling.
- Fire ball and hammer now put them into an extended 'stun' where they shake extra long.
- Fast food will OHKO them for 1000 points now.
- fireball enemies now die to fast food.
- Boss Changes:
- Bosses now skip their dialogue in race and trial modes.
- Bosses will skip dialogue on subsequent attempts after dying.
- Tero's HP reduced from 4 to 3.
- Tero no longer performs her invisibility attack.
- Tero performs a tell when firing now (breaths in and spits fire out, rather than it just materializing).
- Tero's final attack only fires 3 times, down from 4.
- Large Nevux takes 2x damage from the hammer.
- Hammer now destroys Nevux's projectiles.
- Syax's HP reduced from 6 to 5.
- Brand new boss replaces 4-4's original boss.
- Mandew changes:
- Infinitely better collision detection for activating power-up blocks.
- Mandew now buffers jump inputs by 3 frames.
- Mandew now has 5 frames of 'coyote physics' where he can jump in midair after walking off a platform.
- Mandew had better midair control in the direction he's facing.
- Fire balls and fast food are now a bit bigger.
- Mandew now has extra effects for some actions.
- Unique jump sound effects for larger jumps.
- Fixed Bunny Dew being able to hover infinitely.
- Trial Mode Changes:
- Checkpoints no longer revoked in trial mode.
- Checkpoints can be toggled with the pause button on the trial menu.
- Score and time on completion will not be saved if you clear a stage with a warp block.
- Re skinned trial menu.
- Implemented a no-death marker (start to finish) and a no-hit marker for trial mode.
- Checkpoints are now visibly indicated in the form of stoplights.
- Checkpoints now give points depending on your current form on activation.
- Gray borders surround HUD elements and score effect.
- New graphics for Fire balls and fast food.
- Unique sound effects for 1ups, checkpoints and some other actions.
- Cloud platforms stay 4 frames longer before dissipating.
- Fixed brick breaking effect.
- Escape no longer ends the game, now it can be used to pause.
- If an xinput game pad is detected on boot, game will automatically default to it.

- New scoreboard support. You can now submit your score online to S&S for race mode.
- Fast Food projectiles no longer have random arcs. You can now have four on screen at once.
- Support for xinput devices (Xbox360 controllers). Xinput should be used in favour of gamepad setting for supported devices.
- Up/down/left/right can now be mapped to any gamepad button you desire instead of being locked to the device's D-Pad (as sometimes it is an analogue stick).
- Added a group of banned keys. You cannot map controls to function keys, esc or a few other misc keys.
- F1 will now reset controls just in case you break something.
- Fixed onigiris being upside down.
